When COVID-19 restrictions first went into effect last March, dentists across the country closed their doors to everyone except emergency patients. Even though dental offices have been open again for quite a while now, it might seem logical to think that many are suffering from a decline in business — but that isn’t always the case. One dentist in New York City even said that she had been busier than ever. Shortly after her practice reopened, she stated, “I’ve seen more tooth fractures in the last six weeks than in the previous six years.”
